This notice applies when you use heleenviljoen.co.za, submit a property enquiry, use the property assistant or contact Heleen Viljoen through a link on this website. Heleen Viljoen operates as a Candidate Property Practitioner with eXp Realty South Africa (Pty) Ltd.
Information we collect
When you make an enquiry, we may collect your name, telephone number, email address, message and the property you are asking about. If you use the property assistant, your questions are processed so the assistant can provide relevant public property information. Please do not submit identity numbers, financial records or other sensitive information through the assistant.
How information is used
Your information is used to respond to your request, assist with a property enquiry, arrange follow-up communication, maintain enquiry records and operate or secure the website. It is not sold to third parties.
Services involved
The website uses hosting and data-storage services to operate its pages, listings, photos and enquiry records. Clicking a WhatsApp or email link transfers you to that provider and their own privacy terms apply. The property assistant uses automated processing limited to approved public listing information and general rental guidance.
Storage and safeguards
Reasonable technical and organisational steps are used to limit access to enquiry information and protect it against loss, misuse or unauthorised access. Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for the enquiry, business records and applicable obligations.
Your choices and rights
You may ask what personal information is held about you, request a correction, object to certain processing or ask for deletion where there is no lawful reason to keep the information. Some records may need to be retained where required for legitimate business or legal purposes.
Device storage
The website may use limited browser or session storage for features such as remembering that an app-install prompt was dismissed and keeping a visitor’s saved-property shortlist on their own device. The current site does not use this information for behavioural advertising.
Optional website analytics
If you choose “Accept analytics”, this website may load Google Analytics 4 to help Heleen understand page use, property views, guide engagement and enquiry actions. Analytics is not loaded until you opt in. The analytics event layer does not send enquiry names, telephone numbers, email addresses, messages, identity numbers or form contents. Google may receive technical information needed to provide Analytics, such as browser or device information, page URLs and approximate location derived from network information. This site does not use Analytics for behavioural advertising. You can choose “Continue without analytics” or change your preference later using the Analytics preferences control in the footer.
